Overview

This sample cyber risk readout shows what a finished executive or board report built from SAFE One looks like. Download it and use it as a template for your own report. All names and numbers in the sample are illustrative.

What's in the report

  • Program summary: what the cyber risk quantification program is for and how it supports business strategy.
  • Data inputs: the control posture (for example, a NIST CSF assessment), business and financial context from the Financial Impact Questionnaire, and automated telemetry from integrations.
  • Cyber risk posture: the likelihood of a loss event in the next 12 months, compared with an industry peer benchmark, for the current and future state.
  • Top contributing risk scenarios: each scenario's annual likelihood and the strongest controls that help prevent it.
  • Maximum loss magnitude: the largest expected loss and what drives it.
  • Planned initiatives: the projects expected to reduce risk, and by how much.

How to use it

  1. Download the sample and replace each [Customer] placeholder with your organization's name.
  2. Pull likelihood, loss magnitude and ALE from your SAFE One dashboards and the Groups page.
  3. Lead with the business story. Highlight a few key trends and make clear recommendations backed by the data.
  4. Tailor the report to its audience: a high-level view for executives, and department-level detail for business unit owners.
